Antoine Le Cuix is a French 2D and 3D artist, as well as musician.
Having grown up surrounded by comic books and cartoons, Antoine’s style has always been inherently cartoonish in nature. Drawing influences from Japanese animation to Dungeons & Dragons, and everything in between, his style has been limited by nothing less than his imagination. A colour palette with many pinks, browns and oranges is just one of many distinctly “Cuix” traits to his work. Alongside his eye for colour are a distinguishably cute aesthetic, impeccably clean line work and satisfying framing.
If you can easily picture his images within a graphic novel or other form of youth-oriented picture-accompanied literature, it is not by coincidence. Cuix is regularly working on a webcomic and other book-related projects. He has also contributed illustrations to a board game, being but an example of the range his commission work has.
On top of his many two-dimensional visual efforts, are also 3D works beginning to emerge. Antoine is developing his hand in three-dimensional modelling and figurine design. He is also a musician on the side, having been in many bands for roughly a decade, being a guitar player and composer.
Cuix is most prolific in the domain of drawing anthropomorphic misfits, injecting a healthy dose of humour and a touch of provocative subject matters. Yet we are only scratching the surface of his plans, with so much more to come from CuixCorp and everything else across several mediums. Keep your eyes peeled for Antoine Le Cuix.
